Central European Symposium on Theoretical Chemistry 25-28 September 2009, Dobogókő, Hungary |
At this conference a celebration of the 80th birthday
of professor János Ladik will take place.
General InformationIt is our pleasure to issue the call for the forthcoming "Central European Symposium on Theoretical Chemistry" (CESTC) evolved from the former Triangular Seminars. The 2009 Symposium, the eighth of the series, will be organized in Dobogókő, Hungary, between September 25 and 28. It will be held sub auspiciis of the International Society of Theoretical Chemical Physics, founded by János Ladik.Following our tradition, we expect participants first of all from Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. A limited number of participants will be personally invited to join the Symposium. Our meetings have always been small, and are intended to be kept so, in order to facilitate deep scientific discussions in a friendly atmosphere. The total number of participants is also limited in Dobogókő. Therefore, we kindly ask you to keep the deadlines given below, and register at your earliest convenience. CONFERENCE SITECEST-2009 will be organized at a hotel named "Manréza - Wälden" located in the Pilis hills in Northern Hungary. The surrounding woods make an ideal place for refreshing early autumn excursions. Most of the participants will be accomodated in the building which also gives place to conference lectures and meals. In case of overbooking, a nearby hotel named "Pilis" can provide additional accommodation, to a limited extent. Rooms in the main building will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
